 Assignment: The World

Have a great summer!

We will return in the fall for our 51st season of bringing the news into classrooms across the country. But that doesn’t mean you should not pay attention to the news. Keep an eye and ear out for some of these stories we think will take place over the summer months.

  • Continued coverage of the Economy around the world
  • Peace efforts in the Middle East
  • President Obama and his search for a new Supreme Court nominee
  • The Supreme Court considers several important cases before their summer break.
  • Watch for presidential elections around the world…including Iran, Congo, Indonesia and Kyrgyzstan.

These and other stories will occur over the summer. Watch your television newscasts and read your newspapers and news magazines to learn more.
