For this reason, we want to inform you about the types of information we collect and what happens to that information when you leave it with us.

Accessing & Watching ATW

Each year ATW changes the username and password that allows viewers to access the streaming content. This is because of the agreement that we have with our content provider. A license to use this media is required; contact your local public television station for a login and password (ask for the educational ITV department). If your public television station does not air Assignment: The World, you may obtain a license to use this stream and a login/password by contacting the Agency for Instructional Technology at info@ait.net or 1-800-457-4509. Schools receiving Assignment: The World on instructional television broadcast from their local public television station are eligible to view this stream.

No names or personal information will be shown on or collected by the ATW website.

Student Video Content

All children in our video content have completed parental permission forms to participate in ATW’s productions. In order for each child to participate in Assignment: The World’s Classroom Viewpoints Project, parental permission must be collected. At any time, parents or guardians have the right to review the child’s personal information that has been submitted, ask to have the information deleted and refuse to allow any further collection or use of the child’s information.
