Meet the Host

Teej Jenkins

Host Teej Jenkins guides students through complex issues in a safe environment.
Jenkins has been with WXXI for the past six years, and joined ATW as host in September 2008. No stranger to television, she has been in-front the camera as on-air talent for the station’s membership drives. She’s also worked behind-the-scenes as an operations technician for various WXXI-TV productions. Jenkins is active with the Rochester Museum and Science Center Players and most recently played Grandma Betsy in the Frederick Douglass exhibit at the Rochester Museum and Science Center. Jenkins has her Associates Degree in Communications and Media Arts from Monroe Community College. She resides in Rochester.

 

 

Carlet CleareCarlet Cleare, interim host of ATW is a full-time reporter/producer for WXXI’s Center for Public Affairs where she reports on news topics relevant to the community, and helps to create and develop story ideas to produce comprehensive and compelling news stories. Prior to joining WXXI, she worked at RNews as a Desk Assistant. Carlet earned her Associate’s degree in Communications & Media Arts from Monroe Community College in 2004, and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications/Journalism at St. John Fisher College in 2006.
